Project Description

LifeCare Center East is a non-profit, pro-life organization whose mission is to help teen mothers raise their children by providing them with the education and materials to do so. They provide diapers, clothes, baby formula, strollers, and even cribs to help the mother care for the child. They also provide countless brochures, books, and educational videos to educate the mother on how to keep herself healthy, how to keep her child healthy, and how to raise her child from conception to birth and on. My partner and I will be organizing fundraisers and donation drives to help the center get supplies since all the things they hand out for free are from donations. I will also be interacting with and translating for mothers who only speak Spanish. We will also be working with Woodbury LifeCare Center which is just another branch of the same agency. Our work with both of these agencies will be similar but our primary organization will be LifeCare Center East.
