About Me.

I'm a little scared to do this,  because I don't think that it'll really show who Sarah Koscielniak really is.  Apparently last year Josie thought I was a person who liked Disney characters too much and had enormous teeth. But, I'll try my  best, and hopefull you'll wait till you get to know me before you make and decisions! (Josie is now one of my best friends!)

Alright.  Here are the facts:

: Sarah Ashley Koscielniak
Age: 19 (Birthday is May 22, 1990)
Hometown: Grand Haven, Michigan (on the shore of Lake Michigan)
Siblings: Two older sisters, 21 and 23
Majoring in: Designing my own actually, with a mix of Christian Outreach, Intercultural Communications, and of course, a little bit of business!
Job experiences: in Grand Haven I worked at an antique mall, restaurant, and coffee shop. At school I work at the Admissions.
Favorite Movie: I almost have to say "Totally Awesome"... ask me about it. I will watch it with you.
Passion: I've always had a passion for people that had different cultures and backgrounds (and accents) then me, and this past year, I have found my passion is for those people, specifically for refugees.  Also, just sharing the GOOD NEWS by my actions.
Hobbies: I love diong crafts with friends! and biking, and overall just experiencing new things
Some of my favorite places in the Twin Cities: Tough one, but I would have to say "The Black Sea" Turkish Restuarant on Snelling... you should try their Baklava. And then Mesa Pizza... excellent. OH, and Somali malls.
Confirmation Verse: Romans 12:2... it was back then, and still is a verse that I really appreciate.
Summer plans: I'm currently in Honduras right now!!! Spending two months watching God do amazing things in the lives of boys at the San Lorenzo Orphanage in Honduras.  This is currently my third trip there.
Future hopes: Well, as a first job, work at a non-profit organization helping out with refugees. and then I want to start up my own coffee shop, (fair trade) that helps educate people about the people around us with different cultures!
