Day 11 - 7/11/11
Well today we did the same thing, woke up at 4am in the morning, left for the site, and started to work. The team I am on, Daryl's Team, was moved for one day to do some work in a different area. I am not sure why we got moved, but my guess is that Daryl's team was getting ahead of Johns team, which was right next to ours, and so we had to do some other work over in a different area so they could catch up. Or, in that different area they needed our team to get the hard work done... who knows :P
While I was digging to day I found poetry of course again, not much. I also found a decent size piece of bone. We moved large rock again as well. I absolutely love all of this hard work that we are doing, not too many people find joy in manual labor, and having to work in the heat on top of that, but call me weird, or whatever you want, I enjoy this so much!! It is only a week and three days in, but if I could come back again with out any financial worry, I totally would... and bring Haley along of course!! She would enjoy this just as much as I am right now!
After digging we came back down from the top of the mountain and went to lunch as usual! After that I blogged, and we all helped out with poetry washing. Sarah Rice gave the devotion for today, and she asked me to help with a song of worship, Open the Eyes of My Heart, and the we all went to dinner! After dinner, Kyle, Dave, and I went to the shore and talked for about 2 and half hours, that was well needed for all three of us! We have not been together for a long time, and had our usual great conversations! That was the end of the day, until then!
