Shalom aleichem!

Today the usual morning routine 4am wake up 5am digging, and 8am breakfast. Today we started uncovering the floor of E9 and E10, which was very exciting because we had finally reached the floor! We had to just take about 6cm of dirt off the top and there it was, the floor of what we maybe think was a(n) (abandoned) storage room. Our one suggestion that it was an abandoned storage room is because if we would have found jars and broken jars all over the area then that would indicate that it was used as a storage room, BUT since we only found some small pieces of pottery, and only one large pot in pieces that I had came across, leads us to believe that it was abandoned. So we got all of the dirt off of the floor, and started dusting it off with the ends of brooms, and it is not the flattest, most level floor either! I brought up the idea/question that it might be another floor under. Who knows, but Dr. Schuler will be able to tell us soon, since he is the expert!!

In the evening we had devotions with Christine. And we started packing for the Dead Sea trip!! And we are leaving for the Dead Sea at 7:30am. Until then.
