All I can say is.....WOW.
I'm going to put up a bunch of pictures, and give a little explanation for each of them. Words can't really describe the City.
"5Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written:
" 'He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'[b]"
"1One day as he was teaching
the people in the temple courts and preaching the gospel, the chief
priests and the teachers of the law, together with the elders, came up
to him."
Luke 20:1
(The stairs are the ones he preached on)
Where the lady in the red bandanna is bowing down to the place that commemorates where Jesus was crucified. It's something like it is 80% or higher that Jesus was crucified at this spot. Pretty cool!
I had to keep pinching myself today, because I was actually here, in Jerusalem. Ah! Well. All my pictures are loaded onto google pictures...Look at them! Words can't describe what I saw.
