First Blogging Adventure

Now that I have finally figured out how to blog :) I can begin. My name is Victoria but everyone calls me Tori. I come from a small town of Utica, MN. My graduating class was about 60 kids. I was involved in every extra curricular you could imagine. I'm so excited to be starting the Honors Program here at Concordia Saint Paul.

My hobbies are reading, watching Disney movies, and definitely sports. I'm a bit of a clutz but it makes things interesting. I like hanging out with friends and am so excited to meeting new people at college.

My ambition is to become a dentist in either family practice or pediatrics. Along with the Honors Program I will be in biology and chemistry. I am a trumpeteer so I am in both concert band and jazz band.

I loved the book we read this summer and cannot wait to discuss it. It amazes me that in America the family of a woman who changed science cannot get medical insurance. It's also very interesting to see the different cultures and how they react to the news. Scientists are amazed by the family and the research. Henrietta's family is upset by all of it. I believe that if I were in the same position I would react just like the family.

Well that's all for now. Thank you to Dr. Schuler and others for helping me figure out how to get this to work. :)
