When I get stuck on the thought that all that I've known for the past 13 plus years is a chapter in my life that is coming to an end, I am reminded that this is the start of many more chapters to come. Having the chance to go to Concordia was definitely a God thing. I prayed for a feeling that would allow me to know which college is the right one in preparation for my indecisiveness. Though touring Concordia wasn't originally on the list of things to do, it became the place I knew was right for me. I am definitely excited and anxious to experience all that is to be had at CSP.
Anyways, I'm Casey and I currently live in Hibbing, MN. I lived most of my life here on the iron range. I lived in northern Idaho for 5 years prior to that and I was born in Dayton, MN. I have a love for music, I enjoy being active and sports, especially soccer and hockey, and I long to travel which came about from all of the family vacations I've been on as well as the opportunity I had a few years back to tour parts of Europe. Other than that, I'd say I can sometimes be kind of quiet but I like to enjoy life as much as possible.
The Honors Program for me was sort of a last minute decision... well, maybe it wasn't so last minute because all along it seemed like the right thing, I just waited to act upon that feeling. I want to get all I can out of Concordia and I know the Honors Program will allow me to do so. Plus, I'm intrigued to understand what is involved in the idea behind the program and it's mission. I am looking forward to meeting everyone as well.
