Week 6

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?
This week Meri and I were planning on going caroling, but no one really showed up. We've rescheduled that for Tuesday now. I've also done a lot of contacting people about music and working on a theme for the benefit. I have a song that might work, I just need to get together with Meri about it. Also there is a lot of planning in the works for our next course of action of songs, people to sing, people to play, etc. There is also a lot of contacting to be done over Christmas break about this as well.

Week 4

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?
This week in our project, Meri and I established an agreement with Kait Craig who leads a group caroling each year. We're doing a mini-version of Project Starfish's caroling that they do each year to help raise money for the organization. Through this, we've revamped letters, tied and delivered them. Our group is going out on Wednesday night to actually do the caroling. Through this week, we've also met with our composers for our first initial meeting with both of them and have received first drafts of each of their songs. We've also started looking for pictures for our slide show.

2. Interpretation. What did you learn from your project this week? About the project? About the issue? About yourself?
Meri and I both felt good when we were outside freezing in the snow delivering letters. We were cold and it was very early, but we felt like we were actually doing something, actually making progress, and actually starting to make a difference. We've felt like we were making progress in a lot of things and with the past few weeks being very unproductive, we're really glad to finally feeling like we're doing something.
