Week 15

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?

These past two weeks were very different for many reasons; first there was a long break which meant that I really didn't see the PLUS Time kids even thought they still had PLUS Time. Second, I have been working a lot on my project to try and finish it up on time. Lastly, all the kids at PLUS Time have really bad spring fever and so the class levels are really low, while workers are at a high because they are also trying to get hours finished up.

2. Interpretation. What did you learn from your project this week? About the project? About the issue? About yourself?

I do not think I learned too much this week, but I did find out that revising the papers is a pretty time consuming job.

3. Evaluation. How would you evaluate your work on the project this week? What grade would you give yourself? Are you accomplishing the objectives of the project? Your personal objectives?

I think that I have done a really good job with my project these past two weeks. At first I wasn't sure if I would get much done over Easter Break, but I did some good work.

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?

This past week I have been working with the children and teachers at PLUS Time. I also wrote chapter 7 for the project.

2. Interpretation. What did you learn from your project this week? About the project? About the issue? About yourself?

During this week I have learned that the children have more respect for the teachers and people who come in that have the same respect for them. When outside helpers come in and treat them like they are less than they are they do not respect or trust them. Also, the more fun that the people bring into the projects or "lessons" the more the children learn more, and the less they mess around.

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?

This past week I have been working at PLUS Time. This week there was a lot of volunteers that showed up so it was very nice to see them interact and get new ideas about what to put into my book.

2. Interpretation. What did you learn from your project this week? About the project? About the issue? About yourself?

During this past week I remembered how hard it was the first few times that I went to PLUS Time, because there are so many names to remember.

3. Evaluation. How would you evaluate your work on the project this week? What grade would you give yourself? Are you accomplishing the objectives of the project? Your personal objectives?

I think that I did a very good job, but I still wish that I would have more time to spend with the kids.

1. Description. What happened in your project this week? What did you do? Experience?

During the past two weeks I have spent a lot of time on my project both at PLUS Time and with the papers.

2. Interpretation. What did you learn from your project this week? About the project? About the issue? About yourself?

While at PLUS Time I have learned that the more time spend with the children the more they will respect and trust you. Also, I learned that these children have a hard time attaching themselves to others because so many different people have come in and out of their lives and so they need time to start to trust people.

3. Evaluation. How would you evaluate your work on the project this week? What grade would you give yourself? Are you accomplishing the objectives of the project? Your personal objectives?

I did a very good job this week on my project. I have spent many hours working with the children, on the book, and on the paper.
