Two months minus one day and I will be in Israel. It really blows my mind to think of it.
Now, I'm normally rather stoic when it comes to excitement and all that, but in this case, I can't even help it. I am so excited to be able to go to the place where God walked the earth. I can't even begin to fully express how amazing this experience will be.
This will be my first trip to Israel, along with my first archaeological experience. I have always been interested in archaeology, so to be able to actually participate in the dig will be an awesome thing.
I don't have a whole lot more to say. If anyone has any advice for this trip, it would be much appreciated since I will have no idea what I'm doing when I get there. I know I'll get a lot of this info from all the leaders of the trip, but anything in addition to that would be great.
