Tomorrow begins another adventure in Israel!
After more planning and prepping, another season of the dig will come to fruition. And I am extremely excited to be a part of it. I'm excited for several reasons.
1. It's Israel. This is the place where God became man and dwelt among us. It's the place where He was born, died, and rose again for us. To have the privilege to even be in the same land where He was is an absolutely astonishing experience.
2. I've always been interested in archaeology. I used to love reading or hearing about different sites or finds. And now I get the chance to be a part of those finds, to be a part of discovering history. And that's awesome.
3. I made some great friends last time. So this time, I'll be able to catch up with some old friends as well as make some new ones. I am really looking forward to this!
The time remaining before I leave dwindles down, and I can hardly wait. Here we go again!
